Flawed logic: Myth or Science?

I found a quote in one of my textbooks attributed to the "scientist" Galen.

"All who drink of this remedy recover in a short time, except those whom it does not help, who all die. Therefore, it is obvious that it fails only in incurable cases."

Good logic.

I challenge us all to come up with some pseudological statements about anything that fancies you.

For example:
A cat always lands on its feet and toast (with jelly or jam or preserves. . you get the picture) always lands jelly side down. Therefore if you put a piece of toast (jelly side up) on the back of a cat and dropped it, the cat and the toast would never hit the ground.

Looking forward to hearing these.

God is love. Love is blind. Ray Charles is Blind. Ergo, Ray Charles is God.
